Local MP attends radio station launch

Feltham and Heston MP Alan Keen, attended the re-launch of the West Middlesex Hospital Radio Station on Thursday, 3^rd June 2004.

Alan Keen said :

"I would like to congratulate all of those involved with providing the service of the Hospital Radio broadcasts to the patients of the West Middlesex Hospital. The modern equipment and studios are very impressive but would be nothing without the enthusiasm and expertise of those who give so much of their own time for the benefit of the patients. The current management of the hospital realise the value of the radio service and have generously provided a great deal of space for it in a prime location in the new hospital.

I was shown the patients' end of the service and was impressed by the wide range of choice of TV, radio and individual telephone provision available at the bedside.

The people of Hounslow will certainly benefit from having such a wonderful modern National Health Service hospital on their doorstep and, even more importantly, from the great dedication of the volunteers, staff and management."
